On Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM, at the Ag & Business Center, 36 Center Street in Warsaw, join the Team from Food Future WNY and presenter Michael Shuman from SCALE (Sequestering Carbon. Accelerating Local Economies) at a free event to learn the basics of this grassroots tool of finance. Among the topics that will be discussed you will learn:

  • How can a business prepare itself to be successful at investment crowdfunding?
  • What crowdfunding portals are best?
  • What’s the right amount to crowdfund?
  • How can a business get started 

Crowdfunding for Food and Farm Businesses seminar is hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wyoming County, the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce and the Wyoming County IDA in collaboration with the WNY Regional Food System Initiative.

If you are attending virtually, you will receive Zoom login information within 3-5 days of the event on May 25, 2022.
